Who To Star As Rhaegar Targaryen (Jon snow's Father)

GAME OF THRONES fans have a long wait to go until the eighth and final season, but viewers think they may have found out a brand new casting, and it’s a very famous face.
Former child star Dylan Sprouse posted a photo that sent fans into an absolute frenzy and they believe he could be set to portray Rhaegar Targaryen.

The actor is best known for his role in Disney Channel series The Suite Life of Zack and Cody where he starred alongside twin brother Cole, who currently features in Netflix teen drama Riverdale.

In a snap posted to his Instagram profile, the 25-year-old can be seen being tended to by what looks like a hair and make-up team as he sits wearing a suit of armour and red cape with his blonde hair drawn back into a low ponytail.

In series seven, the role of the deceased Prince of Dragonstone was played by actor Wilf Scolding in flashbacks.

When one individual commented: “Game of Thrones getting mainstream,” Dylan replied: “Like GoT isn’t mainstream,” neither confirming nor denying his involvement.

Not only that, they think they’ve sussed out which role he will be stepping into on HBO’s Game of Thrones.

Regardless of Dylan’s involvement, Rhaegar will definitely be referenced a lot in the final chapter as the close of season seven saw the theory that Jon Snow’s (played by Kit Harington) parents are Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar confirmed.

Jon himself does not yet know the truth and, unbeknownst to him, he even enjoyed a steamy romp with his aunt, Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) in the last season.
